Welcome to the official staff handbook for the Barren Land community.
This handbook exists to provide every member of the staff team with a single, authoritative reference for how we moderate, communicate, investigate incidents, and serve our community.
Our goal is consistency.
Players should receive the same fair treatment regardless of which staff member handles their report. Likewise, every moderator should have clear guidance, well-defined procedures, and confidence that they are acting within established policy.
This handbook is intended to reduce uncertainty—not replace judgment.
Good moderation always requires context, communication, and professionalism. The policies contained here establish our standard practices while recognizing that unusual situations occasionally require staff discretion.

The Barren Land Staff Handbook is a living document.
